Alisée De Tonnac

Alisé de Tonnac is the co-founder and co-CEO of Seedstars, a global organization created in 2012 to support entrepreneurs in emerging markets. With a presence in over 90 countries, Seedstars helps founders grow by providing access to capital, knowledge, community, and practical tools to build sustainable businesses. Since launching Seedstars, Alisé has supported entrepreneurial talent across emerging markets, working closely with governments, foundations, and investors to strengthen ventures and SME ecosystems and drive economic development. Under her leadership, Seedstars has built a portfolio of over 200 companies across 105 countries, implemented 118 programs reaching more than 5,500 participants, and launched three Seedstars Academies with over 600 graduates. The organization also partners with and invests in emerging VC fund managers, supporting five funds and four mandates, totaling $200M in assets under management. Recognitions: Alisé has received multiple awards and recognitions for her work in entrepreneurship and innovation, including being named a Social Entrepreneur in Forbes 30 under 30, Innovation Fellow by Wired UK, one of Europe’s most influential women in the startup and venture capital space, and one of Refinery29’s 29 Powerful Women. She also serves on several boards, including Proton and the Assura Foundation, and was also a member of the Innovation Council of the Swiss Confederation (Innosuisse).
